regarding the Magimix 3100; it is good, but if only magimix would make their lids and bowls more sturdy i would be a fan of them forever. but i get fed up replacing parts and wishing every bit would be as reliable as their amazing motors. its like a constant maintenance price is required. if you dont mind replacing lids and bowls every 6 months to a year then this item really is truly spectacular. however one day i shall look to give it away and buy something where the parts are stronger. ... I found this review very helpful because... I have a very old magimix 2000 (over 20 years old) and I found exactly the same - everything works like new except that the brittle bowl breaks too easily and replacements are a horrendous price.
