This company had been a good place to do business but things have changed and the service and courtesy has become worse. I don't know why they have a phone messaging center if they do not listen to their messages. If a dog passes away and you no longer need the medication or the things you were previously using it for they ship it anyway, even if you cancel and expect you to pay for it. Communication is poor there and customer service doesn't exist.

I should have known better, but I tried... I placed an order on July 7th and their ad states 4-7 business days ground. I didn't need it immediately so I figured okay. As of today (the 17th), FedEx Smartpost now says estimated delivery July 21st. This is entirely unacceptable. I order everything on line and will never use these people again. In addition, their customer service folks, on more than one occasion, were extremely condescending and rude. Buyer Be Ware.

They have a great selection and great deals, but don't expect to get the order fulfilled and shipped promptly. Things suddenly go on backorder and then the ENTIRE order is placed on HOLD for that one item. If that item comes into stock, another one goes into backorder status then you're waiting even longer. I paid for priority shipping, but received ground shipping anyhow. No refund was issued for the downgrade shipping. I forgave them for the long delay with my first order, but another delay with the second order makes me leary of doing business with them in the future.

I have ordered twice from Entirely Pets and both times the package was left on a post by the gate in heavy rain and NOT delivered to our front door as UPS and Federal Express would have delivered it. Never again will I order from them.

Products arrived as stated, with correct pricing and was well packaged. However, was not shipped USPS as promised but by a USPS partner so package was held for ransom for an additional 18$ COD charge (in addition to the 12$ USPS COD charge). Asked for a supervisor - was told one would call me back (twice) or one wasn't available (twice). One of their customer support agents stated I should have refused to pay the additional COD charges - despite their fine print stating that refused shipments will not be refunded. No supervisor ever phoned or addressed the overcharge on 4 separate phone calls and days. Two of the four customer service agents were also rude. Emailed twice - and my emails were never answered - though quickly answered before ordering.

I placed an order and it took several hours for it to go through on the website. By that point I wanted to cancel but could not. I paid for expedited shipping but my order was not even shipped for three days and now, a week later, the shipper is saying the package will not arrive for another 10 days--so it may be more than two and a half weeks. This company does not answer e-mails for days and hold time on the phone has been more than 15 minutes. I wish I had known it would take almost three weeks even though I paid for priority shipping. I had had poor customer service in this past from this company so I am not surprised at how awful that has been.

Although their website implies they ship within 48 hours they didn't. They did answer an email, after two days, telling me the PIF-300 - PetSafe Wireless Containment System was back ordered and would ship out "early next week." I called, and after listening to their ads for a few minutes, a service rep came on and made another unfulfilled promise - that the item would be shipped out overnight priority mail, on Wednesday. (I'd actually paid extra for expedited shipping when I originally ordered - what a laugh)
Called again today, Wednesday, just to make sure I'd be getting it tomorrow. More of their ads and finally a rep who informed me it would be another week.
They STILL, as of this writing, have this item on their website like it's available!
I cancelled my order, explaining my reasons. Received no apology at all.
If you get burned at entirelypets know you were warned! There are way better, reputable places to do business.

SELLING NEAR EXPIRED PET MEDS????
I purchased a two pack of "Preventic" Tick Collars for my Belgian Shephard on 1/10/11 and received them promptly.
The VIRBAC "Preventic" collars had an expiration date of March 2011- which is 48 days after I received them. As each collar is for 3 months; the collars would be, according to the manufacturer, ineffective 6 weeks into the first collar.
As a Pharmaceutical Scientist this is a very serious offense to sell "near expired" drugs.
Usually drugs will have 1 to 3 years of shelf life left
Not 48 days.
The Customer Service Rep refused to send me new collars and I informed him to note the "lot/ batch" number of the collars so the could be pulled from the warehouse inventory and not sold as new.
He seemed indifferent and did not offer to send new collars.
I will not use Entirely Pets for the reason that they are selling medicines that have barely 6 weeks of shelf life left on a protect that is designed for a half year of use.

This website does not have any exchange policy at all. I bought a set of dog boots, and when i first put them on my dog, one of them ripped on the top. Obviously this is a defect, but when I contacted them, they seemed to not care and just tell me they do not accept any open items, and just to contact the manufacturer. They do not care about the quality of the product they sell at all, and about customer satisfaction!

I ordered medication from Entirely Pets (www.entirelypets.com) which required express shipping on ice packs and paid extra. It was supposed to arrive in 2 days... 9 days later it shows up and (surprise surprise) any cooling effect in the ice packs was long gone and the inside of the silver envelope was hot enough to cook food in. There were no labels on the outside of the box to indicate that it needed to be kept cold. The medication was cooked and useless and $90 wasted. I called, got a return number, and shipped to the return address shown on their site... I checked the tracking number of the return parcel for over a month before calling them to ask why it had been sitting at the post office and not yet picked up. Turns out the return address shown on their website is THE WRONG ONE. (More than three months later - it still has not been updated.) Customer service said "it should have been forwarded" and that they would contact the warehouse to "have someone go and pick it up on Monday"-- but it never happened. The package returned to me and now I have to spend another $25 of the purchase price to send it back if I still want a refund.
In short: do not buy anything requiring refrigeration, fast shipping, customer service assistance, or returns from this company. You can kiss your money goodbye.

About two weeks ago my girlfriend and I had bought a costume for her new dog for Halloween. I don't care much about it but was sort of a funny one so I was looking forward to seeing her in it. Today, Oct. 28th (three days before Halloween) I decided to call them to find out the deal on the costume because it has been around 2 weeks since we put the order in. After I called them some guy had no customer service skills at all and just plainly said the item was discontinued, and didn't say sorry or anything for the inconvenience. I would just be careful. If there is another place out there, I would just go there.

DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE SAFETY & EFFECTIVENESS OF HEARTWORM MEDS!
I was purchasing my heartworm prevention from EntirelyPets.com until my dog tested positive for heartworms, while on their prescription meds (Intercepter - Yellow). The cost of treating the heartworms came to over $600! My vet informed me that if I had been purchasing the prescription meds through them (or a number of other local vendors), they could file a claim with Interceptor and the cost of treatment would be covered under their product guarantee plan. My dog had been tested prior to starting the meds and it was clear from my prescription history that I had not skipped any months. He told me to contact EntirelyPets and see if they offered the same guarantee. They do not. In fact, according to the customer service rep I spoke to, they do not guarantee the safety or effectiveness of any of their prescriptions! Apparently, manufacturers only offer this kind of guarantee to vendors who purchase directly from them (as opposed to a third party vendor) and vendors who ship and store their product according to their specifications. This made me wonder, where exactly my meds were coming from and how they were being stored. I emailed the company, explained my situation and asked them who they purchased their prescription medicine from. I also asked for a refund on the meds I had purchased. They had already refused to cover any of the heartworm treatment, but at the very least, they should reimburse for the money I spent on medicine that clearly did not work! A month later, I still have not even received a response from them.
Sure EntirelyPets.com has good prices, but before you buy your prescription meds from them, you might want to consider whether it is worth saving a few bucks on a product that does not even come with a guarantee of it's safety and effectiveness. I saved about $6 per box on my heartworm meds and now I am paying over $600 to correct that mistake!

Place order for Heartworm drug for my dog on 10/28/09. Received confirmation of the order on 10/29/09 via e-mail. When the drug did not arrive, I call on 11/05/09. I was told they sent a second e-mail on 10/29/09 which I did not receive. I really don't think it was send. I ask why I did not receive the order I was told that they were not approved to sell drugs in North Carolina. I will never attempt to purchase from them again. By the way, the drug that I ordered is no longer on there web site.

I placed one order from this company for prescription medications for my elderly dog and everything went fine. However, the second order was a nightmare. Apparently they're only good if things run smoothly because if there's an issue, they will leave you and your pet in the lurch.
They claim to have faxed a form to my vet several times, but did not inform me of this until a week after I'd placed the order, and then only via email. I responded immediately and asked them to send me the form or call me with the details so I could follow up with the vet personally. Four days later, no response. I had to wait on hold for many minutes only to find out that the meds still hadn't shipped.
The customer service rep seemed completely disinterested in resolving the problem and I was not allowed to speak with a supervisor (apparently you have to leave them a voicemail and pray that they have more interest in responding than, well, everyone else in the company.) Strangely enough, the other company I placed the order with had no trouble getting an instant response from my vet. When I followed up with the vet, they stated that they'd never even received a request from Entirely Pets.
In my opinion, you'd be a fool to do business with this company, and I certainly will never do so again.

I placed an order with Entirely Pets on July 16th, and my credit card was immediately charged $150+. Two days later I received an email from EntirelyPets.com saying that they had not yet received my check / money order. I responded to this email saying that my card had been charged and was there a discrepancy. I received no reply. After a few days more, I checked my order status via the link provided, and, as always, the status was "review". I called the 800 number, and was told that the order required a prescription, so I gave my pet's name and his prescribing vet's information, and was told it would be taken care of. I also asked why it had taken two weeks and me having to call them to get this resolved; the operator apologized, offered no explanation, but again assured me it would be taken care of. After a few more days I emailed a detailed message concerning what had transpired, and that I was disputing the charge with my credit card. For this trouble I received an email telling me that my payment had been received. It is now August 6th, 21 days after I placed my order and my credit card was charged. My status is still "review", I've had no communication or information from EntirelyPets.com, I am accruing interest from the charge, and worst of all, my dog is out of the medication that helps him with his pain & mobility. It seems the online customer service and the telephone counterparts are two entirely different groups, and I don't see that anyone knows what the other is doing.
