    Good Points: Staff are very friendly and helpful!
    Food was very good and lots of variety.
    Great air conditioning.


    Bad Points: Rooms are basic but comfortable.
    Bathrooms are very small.


    General comments: This hotel is the best value for money all inclusive resort ive been to. I loved it so much im returning again this year! There is daily games to keep you entertained and nightly shows that will keep you amused! A fabulous beach is only a five minute walk away and there is a beach hut there for food and drinks free with the hotel. The locals swarm the place on a Friday and can take over but its definitely worth putting up with for one day! This resort is not to be missed!

    The Dorado Club Resort is a fantastic resort for anyone who wants to visit the Dominican Republic. The staff and very friendly and entertaining, plenty to do, including mini-games through the day and night, pool area very nice and relaxing, when I went it was the best holiday I've been on so far, and I would like to go again, and I recommend to anyone.

    Overall, this was a very pleasant relaxing holiday. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Within the complex there is no need for money or stress. It was excellent value for money. If you want a nice relaxing exotic holiday, Hotetur Dorado Club Resort in Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic is definitely worth it.

    This hotel was EXCELLENT value for money. My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much in May that we returned again in August. Most of the rooms had been refurbished and the air conditioning had been renewed. The evening entertainment is fairly good, but for those who seek the dance floor there are two venues within stumbling distance of the Hotetur Dorado Club Resort in Puerto Plato, Dominican Republic.     I have just got back form the Hotetur Dorado Club in the Dominican Republic, and I am missing it already. The weather was superb. It was very hot and getting hotter. The people and staff are very friendly, and there were drinks all day. The only thing negative about the place was probably that the rooms are in need of modernization, and we had an upset stomach for about 4 - 5 days of the 2 weeks we were there.     We had a fantastic holiday at the Hotetur Dorado Club Resort in the Dominican Republic, and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else. The sea was warm (although choppy at times), and there were plenty of beds on the beach. The beach sellers like to have a banter, but if you're not interested a polite 'no thanks' will do.

    I went to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic a week ago. It rained for the first few days, but otherwise it was really good. The pool at the Hotetur Dorado Club Resort was lovely. The staff were very friendly, and the food was different every day. The rooms was clean, and we had clean towels every day.

    Spent a week at Hotetur Dorado Club Resort got back 2 hrs ago. Enjoyed every minute of it. Something for everybody but no hassle if you didn't want to join in. Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed daily. Hotel was spotless. Pool cleaned daily. Staff very friendly

    Hotetur Dorado Club Resort room very spacious with hot running water and air conditioning. However the bedroom flooded with water which was coming out of the plug sockets on our third day and we had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. This was reported to reception and was sorted the very next day.

    The beach is very clean and the sea lovely and warm, and the beach bar is very entertaining during the day, although at night the bar is only open until around 8.00pm.

    We thought that the Hotetur Dorado Club Resort is a brilliant hotel. Our room was very big, it was more like an apartment. The entertainment staff are great and they played a huge part in making this holiday as good as it was. The pool was very clean as was the whole hotel. The beach was a short walk (about 2-3 minutes).     Hotetur Dorado Club Resort:
    The staff, especially the fun team, Angelo, Mosquito, Shaggy and Speedy were fantastic and made the holiday special, they always tried to get you to join in with the various games around the pool but soon stopped asking when we made it clear we were more interested in lounging, sunning around the pool.     Puerto Plata, Hotetur Dorado Club Resort - Unless you are very very fussy, you will have a brilliant holiday here.
    The staff are friendly and helpful - the rooms, while not 5 star, are cleaned every day, with fresh towels daily and separate beach/pool towels.
    The food is plentiful and varied - something for everyone, including the children.
    The beach is just a short stroll away, fringed by Palm trees - the Atlantic sea is very warm.

    Over all the Dorado hotel is very nice and it made our holiday. The entertaiment is very good, every day there are games non stop and every night there is a mini disco for kids and a show and some nights there is even bingo! The fun team are very friendly and try and get you involved in every. The food and drinks are very nice and up to standard. There is also a beach bar where you can get your drinks and snacks.     We travelled thousand of miles to the Hotetur Dorado Club Resort that reminded me of the kind of family holidays that Billy Butlins invented in the 5os, with pool side games that put the participant and the other guests at risk, whilst there 2 guests had food poisining, 1 lady slipped on the tiled floors and broke her arm in 4 places, 1 guy broke his toe slipping.
