Good Points: When it is working it performs well

Bad Points: In four years has had Four replacement grill elements and Two lower oven elements. At £30 - £60 per element plus engineers call out I am well on the way to the original cost of the oven when purchased!Have also had to replace Two of the front panel control Knobs at £12 each because they melted when making toast.

General comments: The Neff U1722 is let down by poor quality design and reliablity.I know people who have 10-15 year old ovens that still work perfectly (hence me buying one) so I can only assume that today they are cutting corners and living on their earlier reputation.

We had a new kitchen fitted last week and had a Neff U1722 double oven fitted. Since it was fitted it makes a vibrating noise, normally when the thermostat cuts in, when the oven is hot enough.

Went back to the store to get it replaced and they insisted we had the Neff engineer come out to it. He changed the fan/coil/motor which was all one part. The noise is a little better but still makes this vibrating noise. Engineer says it is normal.
