Excellent looking phone, probably best looking on the market even todday, that works well and with great clarity. I have owned them for 5 years with no problems, only had to replace the batteries once at a few pounds each. The 2 pins make it easy to sit in its charging cradle so don't know why anyone would have problems. I am only looking for a replacement as I spilt a cup of coffee on the base unit. Have spent 5 times as much on worse phones so definately would recommend these.

I have had this phone for just over one year and the interference on line is unbearable. I have discovered that the problem is with the main base unit, you just have to wobble the handset in it's base and it almost works okay, but you have to keep doing this to make calls that are not garbled. My advice is do not buy it

The Binatone I-DECT X1 is probably the best looking handsets available on the market. It's sleek, stylish and easy to use too.
However, the unit is not withouts it's flaws. As other users have pointed out, The cradle needs re-designing as it is quite difficult to place the handset on it and getting it to charge.
Overall, it's a great little addition to the market and its quite cheap to at 50 pounds (depending on where you shop)

If I knew this product was made by Binatone I would never have purchased it.
The Battery's are useless and the battery holder design is useless, and without batteries the phone is USELESS!
Basically Binatone USELESS.
Shame really because the design concept is good.

The iDECT X1 Trio telephone is sleek & stylish, has conference and three way speaking and an intercom facility. Number Key button too small. Its ok if tried with other brand

Good price for the iDECT X1 Trio but batteries lasted only 1 year. Replacement rechargeable batteries cost more than the phone. Semi circle design not easy to rest on shoulder.

My only problem with this iDECT X1 Trio phone is that the cradle could do with redesigning so that the phones sit properly in it and can charge properly. Don't buy if you're not prepared to spend several hours muttering and swearing at it whilst you try to balance the phone in a position that allows it to charge. The phone does beep to tell you the battery is low and the charger isn't working, which is useful, but annoying when it happens in the early hours of the morning as it wont shut up till you've balanced it correctly in the cradle so it can charge again, and this can take ages, as it's very very fiddly and the connection is very precarious.
