    Good Points: Relaxed dining with really good food

    Bad Points: Not quite the same as Deanes

    General comments: A lovely place to stop for coffee or lunch during the day and very good for evening meals. A good varied menu backed up with a good range of wines. I've eaten there several times and I have not been disappointed.

    Went to Deanes Deli last week. Thai Green Curry was bland, tasteless and un-seasoned. Had fish pie as a replacement, it was also bland and tasteless with hard lumps of raw potato. The Moules Mariniere had the same watery, bland, unseasoned sauce as the other 2 dishes with mussels about the size of a cockle. I have e-mailed Deanes 10 days ago, but no reply. I will not go back.
