General comments: Just thought I'd let all you people out there in motorcycle land, know about some great leathers I have been trying out. This suit is designed by a small company based in South Wales. They go by the name of Elite Security Supplies and their debut suit is called the "Dragon Skin" GP Pro.
The suit is loosely modeled on a similar Italian brand and also has the twin zip opening instead of the traditional single centre zip. There are lots of elasticated panels to allow for a comfy riding position. An aero hump on the back is standard too.
I borrowed this prototype suit for a month and got to ride my SV650S in it once, and found it to be one of the most comfy suits Ive tried in a long time, even though it wasn't a long ride, weather too cold! The proprietor of the company, Tony Lewis, admits that there is plenty of improvements to be made, for example the plastic shoulder protector idea has been scrapped I believe. All the zips are quality YKK zips. The suit has a fairly standard perforated lining with CE body armour included. You even get a pair of sliders!
No logo on this suit, just the name down each thigh. I don't yet know what logo the company will eventually choose. Ive made a few suggestions, things like reflective piping or reflective backing to the logos, ventilated panels, coloured stitching for a mainly black suit (working on Kevlar stitching), possibility of a fly zip for the gentlemen! I really liked the suit and plan to watch the company closely and see if, in the future I can place an order for my own suit to match the colour of my SV. I think it has real promise as long as the price dosen't get too high or the quality suffers.
Price, well I think something in the range of £300 to £400 but you had better check on that. At the moment their web site is a bit basic but I know myself what its like being a one man band, finding time to do all these things.
