WE HI-CAPA HAS A BAD DESIGN FLAW! I have a WE 5.1 that had a problem that took me forever to figure out. It happened twice and nobody could ever help me including the manufacturer. It's when the gun feels like it's losing power when the slide does'nt go all the way back when firing. On blowback guns, when the hammer hits the valve, it's stays open for a thousandth of a second until the slide itself releases it. Which means the gas should have enough pressure to pull the slide back before the valve closes. Ther is a small part in the gun that breaks in half. And what it does, it releases the gas to soon just like a non-blowback that the pressure is not sufficient enough to pull the slide back. That's why blowbacks uses more gas than non-blowbacks because of this design. I don't know what that part is called but I can't find an exploded drawing for this gun to name the part. I call it the gas valve pin release. It is very hard to fabricate because of the small size and I'm lucky to have a WE dealer in my area that gives me the part on warranty. When my warranty expires, I have to keep buying the dang part each time it breaks

Everything else is good with this gun!

WE HI-CAPA 7.0 Dragon is the longer version of WE hi capa 5.1. I got it for around USD90 in a local air gun shop which was on sales. This is my first Air gun with automatic blow back air gun. Beside, the standard Top gas / Red gas magazine, it also came with CO2 magazine at around USD37/pc. But it was out of stock when I got the 7.0 Dragon.

Someone sees the automatic blow back is an advantage for an air guns, but I think it is some fancy stuff which wasted all the power.

    Initially, I was ...
