“I recently bought this digital camera, weighing only...”

I recently bought this digital camera, weighing only 130 gms with 5 Mega pixel picture resolution. At first the camera looks nice, with its movable zoom lens of 3 Optical & 2.4 inch TFT LCD display. The user interface is also ideal both for new & advance users. The auto mode carries a various options like shake free, portrait, red eye reduction & landscape mode.

The camera has an internal memory of 16 MB, besides an external secured digital slot. The 2 X AA battery option is also helpful with a view to ideally, however, it equally consumes power like its predecessors.

Now comes to picture output, while viewing on computer screen, it gives a crisp result with vivid colors and promised contrast and resolution, be captured in any mode, but during playback mode, the picture slightly get blurred in the TFT screen. Pictures captured in dark nights are not ideal because of lack of powerful flash, due to its compact size, so size does matter. This deficiency has been overcome with ISO800 feature in portrait mode which enables the user to take pictures without flash in restaurant or some romantic environment. The camera also has a direct print option with some compatible printers but most users do not use this option, rather they prefer to download & edit it, before making print outs.

The video quality at 320 x 240 (equal to MPEG quality) is good, while viewing on computer screen, but you cannot change the zoom level during making videos. Although, sound is slightly slow in Windows Media Player, but satisfactory in 'Real media Player'. Like others, the camera also has a video / audio output option, via mini USB interface.

Finally this camera is a good value of money, for seeking good quality pictures, except the one mini USB port, which I hope will be overcome in next models.
