    Good Points: Separate inks


    Bad Points: Printer heads always clogging


    General comments: Epson Stylus CX3500 is a version of Stylus CX3600 for Middle East and Africa,
    The difference is on type of ink that is used.
    This printer prints with a good quality on a normal paper and great quality on special photo paper. It has four separate ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
    This unit is not very fast, but it has good colours and a sharp image, gray levels are nice as well.
    Scanner has resolution of 600dpi, for most cases it is enough for providing a sharp and detailed picture.
    Copier function is very convenient - works very well.

    The main drawback of this device is printer head clogging, they clog every week and require cleaning, this operation consumes a lot on ink and not always it help from the first time.
    Epson provides a great service for the customer, they replaced my printer with a new one after I used it about half of the year. New printer served me another half of the year until heads are fully clogged again (I cleaned heads every week for normal operation).
    Now I use this device as scanner.
    I gave Value Of Money and Overall Rating 4/10 because after year and only about 500 printed pages this device stopped to function and because it took a lot of money for ink that was mostly consumed in every week head cleaning.

    If not chronic head clogging it would be a very good device. I do not recommend this model because of that reason.
