    Mission M35i's

I have owned these speakers since last Christmas (around 9 months), I can honestly say that I am very impressed with them. I paired them with a Nad 355bee amp offering enough power to get the best out of them. They will handle up to 150 watts so this is a good match you can pretty much turn them up all the way without distortion, which is too loud by all accounts.

The Top end treble is delicately represented, with concise pebbly reproduction. The bass is equally astounding with deep low frequencies and hard hitting punchy music almost feeling like you are being hit. I would definitely say that these monsters (over 20 kilos a piece) are more suited to dance and bass orientated music rather than vocal such as opera but they are still good with this.

Furthermore I would suggest that the M32i are the true audiophile choice from this range. The M35's have a relatively long run in time of around 40 hours if I remember correctly and do sound a little harsh until they have loosened up. They can be bi-wired which I would suggest is the best way. They also offer foam inserts to tweak the sound plugging the ports on the back but I would recommend filling the bottoms with sand, as this I believe improves the sound. The supplied bases are sturdy and require attaching on delivery, each has 4 adjustable metal spikes to level them out with about a inch adjustment on each.

In summary if you are looking for a good set of speakers for bass driven music then these are the ones. I would imagine that given the low response they should sound pretty good on low powered amps too.

    Pros:
    Brutal Bass
    Throw Superbly
    Quality Build
Bite the back of your hand Beautiful

    Cons:
Very heavy / Could be seen as advantage
    Too large for most rooms

The Mission M35i is clear and powerful. Well built.....
Best set i've ever heard. They need a powerful amp to really get them going...and they take a while to run in.... but its well worth the wait
