Good Points: Fixed barrel, sidelever cocking action, nice solid feel. Inexpensive.

Bad Points: Sights, crude trigger, hard to load pellets.

General comments: I have not been able to shoot more than a hundred rounds or so with my Tech Force Model 41 air rifle yet. (too cold out!) I got it from Compasseco for just over $50.

It seems to shoot straight and consistently enough. I have been trying to get it sighted in and having trouble with this. First targets showed that it was shooting quite high. I adjusted the rear sight as low as I could but it still hit about 4 inches over my aim point at 10 yards. I took apart the rear sight and ground down the plastic block/blade so that it might be able to adjust lower. This helped - now it just hits about 2 inches over aim point at 10 yards. I ground it some more and will try again tomorrow. The front sight is crudely rivetted on the muzzle and is butt-ugly.

I like the feel of this gun and the action seems smooth and positive. I'm confident that I can work with it and get it to perform up to my expectations. I'd be happy if I can get it shooting accurately at 20-25yards. I want to progress as a target shooter and someday buy a full blown competition air rifle.
