All the problems listed here are true. I have a 105 CTi that I bought in 2007. Nothing but problems with any shell but Remington?? At the NRA convention I asked the Remington Rep. " How do you build a shotgun that rejects others shells? I was told to send it back to NY for the "Enhancement Kit" It came back last week as a 105 Cti II. New model II works well so far. Cost from Remington $0.

The Remington 105 CTi is a beautiful looking shotgun. I'm left handed and loved the concept. After a million jams, I put it on the shelf and bought a Benelli Montefeltro. Solved all of my Remington problems except how to get my $1400. back

I recieved the Remington 105 when I won a raffle at a NWTF banquet, and use it generally in Trap shoots. Very easy on the shoulder and I am able to shoot it all day. I cannot just take it out to shoot without cleaning it before, as the ejecting system is fickle at best without thourough maintanence. Easy to clean as all Remington auto-loaders are, just two pins to remove to have access to all of the internals. When cleaned good, it will out-shoot my friends Berreta any day of the week.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my wife. I bought the gun sight unseen as none of my local gun dealers could get one from there distributors in Central Va. So we had a display unit transferred from a large national retailer. The gun came in almost 100% perfect, with just a couple of knicks around the trigger guard. I saved $500 by doing this. My first impression of the gun was I did not like it. The bottom feeding/ejection/auto loading is very different then what I am used to. ...

I have had nothing but trouble with this gun from day one. Jamming, not ejecting shells. Sent it back to Remington for repair and it still does not perform. Remington will own up. I simply asked for a down grade (870 or 1100) actually it would have been an upgrade, but Remington will not honor. I have already written them off and will never purchase another Remington product!

I bought this gun last year and have had nothing but problems with it. This gun is very picky with what loads you use(found out after I bought it). I have also had nothing but problems with it overall. One out of every 5 shots jamms! After a while of this I noticed that The shells I was prying out of the chamber were set off when they were only 3/4 of the way in. They were ballooning becasue they were ghoing off wihtout being fully chambered! After the last shot the action was not staying open w ...

I purchased a Cti105 last year as I wanted an auto which did not pose a threat to fellow shooters standing to the side by ejecting hulls at them. Baretta were having teething problems with their UGB 40 - so I thought - Remington good name, bound to be a winner. What a mistake! First problem - the recess in the barrel, which houses the ejector claw, was so sharp that it was causing gouging in the shells preventing them from being chambered.Solved this problem by judicious use of a file to remove t ...

Was invited to hunt Pheasant on a ND family farm in 2007. Tried using Phasant loads in my Ithica Model 37, wow! I needed less recoil, read about the 105CTi, and bought one. Took a few trips to the Trap and Skeet club to start hitting. I like the ease to load the first shell when shooting singles. It becomes a natural movement after a few rounds. I use Federal #7 1/2 1 1/8 1200FPS for clays.Once in the field the gun was a dream. I used Federal #5 1 1/4 1500FPS for Pheasants. The recoil is so well ...

Don't buy one of these until they sort out the problems great concept but totally fails to deliver.
I purchased a new 105CT in March 2007 having read a positive review in a local dealers magazine and because the new technology seemed to be particularly suitable for a shooter like me who is right handed but has a left dominant eye and shoots off the left shoulder.
My first use of it was on duck shooting opening weekend 2007 and for a start it seemed ok but then it started to jam every so often ...

The Remington 105 CTi is a beautiful shotgun but it did not deliver anything close to what they claimed, supposedly made to give berretta and benelli a run for their money, yet they completely missed the mark. I paid 1600 for this shotgun, and returned it a week later because i had about 30 jammed shells out of 100. bought a benelli for 200 more and have shot about 2000 rounds with only 3 jams.......wow

This is my second one,the first one was from Cabela's and refurbished "real early serial number' I had alot of jamming problems in cold weather. Then the front sight fell off. I sent it back to Remington with a list of everything I could possibly find to complain about. In about 3 weeks I got back a brand new gun.Thishas a much higher serial number and is everything that Remington claims so far.I've hunted with it,no problems and run about 200 trap loads thru it ,no problems, all in cold condit ...

I have hunted 35 years and I have never had a rifle, shotgun, or pistol that has given me such fits. I have gotten little satisfaction from Remington Factory warranty. I actually only hunted 3 times with it and it broke each time. Now it sits in the gun cabinets waiting to be traded in.

Loved the looks. However it is somewhat unreliable. I bought the 105CTI in the summer of 2007. Early bird hunting went well and the gun operated fine. Then on a cold morning,0 degrees,it would not cycle at all no matter what loads I was shooting. Took it to the local gunsmith he tore it down discovered some metal filings. He reassembled and I went to South Dakota on late season rooster hunt it was 10 to 15 degrees and the gun worked well with the high brass loads. I came home and was trying to s ...

Purchased a 105CTi a month ago after 30 years of shooting a Remington 1100, BIG mistake, first time out it jammed solid after 6 shots took ten minutes to free jammed cartridge, gave it another chance second week, exactly the same, only this time found a loose screw floating about in the chamber, NOT VERY Happy, six shooters waiting and I can't free jammed cartridge. Emailed Remington USA, not interested. Returned gun to Edgar Brothers, received back 1 week later " modified & fixed" ...

I had read many glowing review of the Remington 105 CTi and was in the market for a shotgun so I decided to get myself one for Christmas (well, technically, get my wife to get me one...). It is well known that there are manufacturing delays for the 105 CTi so I wasn't surprised that I had to wait a bit longer than anticipated. When it finally came in, I was very happy to get what I thought was the "cutting edge" in semi-auto shotguns. The marketing for the gun and, in particular, the reviews ...
