I've used self tanners for years since i have pale skin. Dave's is one of the more useless self tanners I've used. The color is weak. It's rather hard to apply, doesnt go on well. I am not going to use this product ever again. I tried it based on the reviews but will go back to my favorite tanner which is California North Titanium.

i did not like Famous Dave's Moisture Tan because it was to much of a bright color. maybe if i had used it a second time it wouldnt have turned out so bright. but it was easy to apply and it doesnt have a fragrance. if you dont like the smell of self tanners then i would recommend this product to you.

I decided to give this Famous Dave's Moisture Tan fake tan a try after seeing it in lots of magazines (rave reviews), and it didn't disappoint! Really easy to apply, it's a white cream so it doesnt stain your clothes but it's still easy to see where you've applied it. It dries really quickly and doesn't leave your skin sticky like pretty much every tanning lotion I've tried. Love it!

I've used loads of fake tans over the years mainly St Tropez, so i'm used to looking slightly brown/slightly orange. I used the Famous Dave Mousse and i have to agree that it does smell while it's developing, but my problem was putting it on. It dries that quickly that I found it hard to blend properly and ended up with patches on my skin that looked like mud that needed to be wiped off. It didn't go orange on me, the colour actually looked really nice on the bits that had worked! It did really ...

I have very pale skin and have tried dozens of tanning products, and Famous Dave's Moisture Tan is by far the best fake tan I've tried. The colour is exactly the colour I would tan naturally (after 2 weeks in the sun!), and is definitely not orange like so many others I've used in the past. I guess if you're looking to achieve a dark fake bake tan, this product's not for you but it's perfect for my skin colour, whereas fake bake looks like mud on me!

I bought the Famous Dave's Moisture Tan tan and I really dont like it! It goes on orange and leaves your skin feeling dry. I really wish i never wasted my money on this product and stuck to buying Xen tan its way better leaves your skin feeling smooth and has a really nice smell.
Famous Dave smells ok but once you put it on your skin and it drys in it smells like you have slapped curry sauce all over your body.

I have used various sunless tanners over the past several years and have been disappointed overall. I am a natural blonde with fair skin (reddish undertones) so I don't tan easily and usually burn. I recently bought a bottle of Famous Dave's Moisture Tan and I truly love this stuff! It goes on easily, doesn't leave me streaky or orange. Best of all, in 4 hours or so I have a nice brown tan. I look like I've been to a tanning salon! I even put it on my face and it looks completely natural! I had ...

I bought the Famous Dave's moisture tan lotion and mousse set and was really happy with both. The Mousse gave me a darker tan than the lotion, I'd recommend using the mousse when you already have a bit of colour if you're really pale like me. The lotion gave me a really natural looking tan, not at all orange, and I was brown after just one application. As for the smell, I honestly didn't notice any with the lotion, I applied it in the morning and there really was no "biscuity whiff"! The mousse ...

Firstly if you're going to use Famous Dave's Moisture Tan it will turn you darker and you won't turn orange or patchy if you use it correctly

    i'd keep the following in mind before ordering and during application;

-firstly the bottle is quite small, and if you're really stupid like me you'll look at the picture on the website instead of the amount and assume it is larger, but this isn't an extremely important point

    - don't be fooled, even on fair skinned people such as myself this product make ...

Bought the Famous Daves 200ml Dark Mousse recently after trying many other including Xen Tan, St Tropez, Fake Bake etc & I am very impressed! Mousse goes on evenly & dries quickly & there is not a strong 'fake tan' smell. After 3 hours I had a lovely golden tan which didnt look fake at all, no orangey hue or streaks! I got this from the famous daves shop on ebay for £15 & think its a real bargain & will be buying again!
    Highly recommended

One application of Famous Dave's Moisture Tan had very little effect in darkening my skin so it took about three applications to get any noticeable tan. At £20 a bottle that works out very expensive. And although it is fragrance free when you apply it, a couple of hours later it smells just like all the others. It is a slightly more subtle smell but the smell is still there letting everyone know you have fake tan on! Might as well buy a cheap high street product and just put a bit less on ...

I have uneven skin on my legs, they are hardly ever smooth and blemish free so I've struggled to find a tanner that is even and doesn't make me look even worse!!! But the struggle is over! I got Famous Dave's today, exfoliated and applied it as evenly as I could and not only has it developed into a beautiful colour but it's covered over my flaws and my legs look better than they have in ages!! I highly recommend this product. It's worth a try. It might not be right for everyone but if it can ma ...

I bought this product on based of the sellers web site reviews. It did still have a very slight after smell, but I found it to be far less than most shop bought ones I've tried, which it does state on their site. It went on very easy and spread well with no patching and minimal useage. I found it to be a very realistic colour. Not at all orange. You do have to wash your hands extremely well otherwise you will get brown hands like I did the first time. The colour lasted for ages even through bath ...

I have used gradual tanning products before one did smell strongly and the other which was brilliant did not it had a really nice smell even when developing but because it is gradual you really have to put on every night for about five nights until you get the desired effect. I really was after a product that did not have that developing smell so that it why I bought Famous Dave`s. I was very disappointed in this product and definitely will not buy again!! Back to the graduals for me for a bit!

Overall good colour but after a couple of applications started to take on an orangey tone. A pain to remove when you want to go back to your natural colour.

I was a little cross that so many people have raved about Famous Dave's Moisture Tan on the net, and made claims that it doesn't smell. It has a very strong smell as it's developing. The only time it doesn't smell is when you are applying it - but this is the same for many other fake tans.

It would be OK for very fair skinned people, but anybody else would need several applications.

This stuff is fantastic. It gives a brilliant all over golden non orange colour and at £20 a bottle doesn't break the bank. Its great as far as usage is concerned as well as it spreads out a lot so minimal usage is all that is needed.

It went slightly smudgy over my feet and hands but that was due to not enough care applying to those areas. It is important to remember that it tans where you put it so be careful when applying.

It doesn't give an instant result it takes between 4 and 6 ...

My friend recommended Famous Dave's Moisture Tan to me. I was a bit sceptical at first (I've tried pretty much every fake tan out there)! I went on to the website and read all the customer feedback, and I thought I'd give it a try. I love it!
