What I want to ask people is, do the bushings on the swinging arms on the rear go in all of the gti's or just mine? The bushings are gone in mine and the 2 rear wheels are moving and not in a good way, and I mean side to side, not going around!- Read Guest's review (90 words)

Overall I think Toyota Corollas are fabulous cars to drive and reasonbly light on petrol. No matter how hard you drive it, it never gives out and the throttle response is extremly good. Just keep a tag on when the timing-belt needs changing, to costly to be replacing valves and the likes!- Read Guest's review (98 words)

An absolute joy to drive. They are a weapon of a car. For a hatch she ' s a solid yoke and just sticks to the road. Unreal with the sound of the janspeed rattling your brain as you drive. Great car
Nothing much, just they can rust on arches an sunroof which is a disaster. Small bit of gearbox trouble which I had with mine.
Can also drink a lot of oil when she wants to.
Brilliant car. Well worth buying one before they disappear. Hard to find good ones at the moment. Mostly garaged behind closed ...- Read Guest's review (98 words)

I had a j reg Corolla a few months back loved the car wish I never sold it been looking for a while now for another one but cant find any. Awesome cars to drive pull well. They rust on the arches and around the sun roof. Too light on the front end so they under steer. And a lot of them out there slip out of 5th gear. Not a big problemIf your looking to buy a sporty hatch these are the cars to buy. Plus they are getting rare so worth a few bob.- Read Guest's review (133 words)

A great car that you will never get sick of driving. Cheap to run and very comfortable for such an old car. I'd recomend anyone to buy one just to experience a proper old school GTI.- Read GENGI's review (61 words)

I have had my Toyota Corolla since February this year an its still off the road. I had it out to test the power, and mine is running at 190 bhp on the original 4age engine. Overall it is a lovely car, with good power and well worth a buy. In my opinion you cant really do much to the body only a few small things.- Read twincam lad's review (96 words)

Spent thousands on it & it still isn't finished, blue printed engine, scorpion exhaust, blitz induction, superchipped, black diamond discs, lowered45mm, pushing out 165bhp at the front wheels.
I am in the middle of redoing bodywork for respray phoenix orange with a gold pearl, gonna look sweet.- Read cornbeef's review (88 words)

What an awesome car! The Toyota Corolla is one of the fastest cars that I have had even quicker then a single cam civic vtec. And for the money what a bargain, I'm looking to put the 4 AGZE engine conversion in the car which is a 1.6 supercharged engine running at 165 bhp standard! And can be highly modified like the 4 AGE engine.
If your looking for a cheap fuel guzzling fast car look no further than the toyota corolla GT-i 16 ae92 model.- Read dejay's review (192 words and 1 comment)

I had probably one of the last Corolla GTi-16's registered. It was a K reg. I never saw another K reg one. I was 18 when I bought it and had it 4.5 years. It was a great car and I have fond memories of it. I spent a fortune modifying it. Fastest 1/4 mile I got was 16.3 at santa pod. Not exactly fast but not bad for what it is.
I sold my Corolla for £1800 in 2002. I'm not quite sure how, but the picture in the top left is of my car! No idea how it got on here though!- Read Fantom121's review (188 words)
