When you go online to arrange a sale of your mobile phone, mazuma ask you if it is working or not working. The price they offer to pay depends on this information. Having sent them a phone which was in good condition and was working perfectly in every way, they emailed to say that the phone was faulty and required a new screen. I sent an iPhone 6plus in perfect condition I'd looked after my phone and always kept it in a case never in my back pocket. It certainly wasn't damaged when I posted it the original offer was for £240 yet they tried to say that the handset had a bend in the chassis and therefore they offered me £90. My order number was M7011125 I'm still waiting for you to return my handset, I know damned well there was certainly no bend in the chassis when I sent it to you as I look after my things and it has been in a case since I got the phone. I certainly hope it's not damaged when you return it to me or I will be taking further action!!!!

“Apple Store offered more! ”

I was offered £60 for my old iPad In Apple store when I upgraded. I was told I may get a lot more selling privately so I tried Mazuma as I had a good deal with my old iPhones. I was only offered £65 but I sent it off . I was then told it was faulty and advised a new price of £25 was now offered- despite Apple telling me it was fine. Hi

We can confirm your iPad was classed as Faulty due to having a faulty screen. There is a white mark in the display. Unfortunately, the entire screen needs replacing in order to repair.

We emailed you a Faulty offer with the option to have the iPad returned free of charge. You accepted the faulty offer and we made immediate payment.

Sent my phone with the freepost label, phone was in full working order. Checked their website before to make sure its classed as working. I done this as it had the usual wear and tear on casing. We can confirm that your Samsung Galaxy S5 was classed as Faulty due to having a damaged screen. The screen is delaminated from the inside (top right).

This damage is unlikely to have happened in transit.

Although we do not deduct value for cosmetic wear and tear, it's important to not the phone is in very poor condition and has been heavy used.

The phone will be returned to you free of charge.

Excuse me but the phone is in perfect working order. Every button and function works there is no cracks in the screen. Yes there is cosmetic wear and tear. It is not in poor condition and everything works. I took photos before sending it. Yes its been "heavy used" as you put it as its 2 years old. I didnt see anything about heavy use on your website. And you are quite right i dont believe it could have been damaged in transit as i packed it well. I cant wait to get the phone back to see where this magical de lamination has come from. But i also think your reply underlines your appauling customer service and should put people off using your service. The women i spoke to unhelpful and rude as yourself said everything worked. The only question is this mysterious de lamination she spoke off. I havent seen what youve done to my phone since you recieved it but loom forward to getting it back.

Also you said you do not deduct for cosmetic wear and tear but feel the need to highlight that it has been used heavily? Purpose of that statement? Showing of customer service skills?

The phone has already been arranged to be returned free of charge so please dont say it like your doing me a favour. And on your last question no it does not help.

Had a LG3 which I wanted to sell, it was faultless, before shipping I ensured it was cleaned of data, cleaned the screen, looked like new, including fully charging the battery. I know for a fact my phone was fine when I sent it. However I was told when received it needed a new screen and instead of the agreed price I would get a fraction of it. My phone was sent to the service for a quoted figure of £105 as in working order which it was. I was then emailed back stating that the item was apparently faulty and now qualified only for £25. The only options given to me were to be sent my now faulty phone back, get in touch with Royal Mail or just accept the £25. A water of my quoted amount. I sent my old phone in full working order to mazuma . There was no contact from them within 5 days so i made contact to them . It took 2 days for a reply . They then stated my phone was not working and the original price of £90 was no longer offered to me just the £30 not working offer . it then took them 4 more days to put any money into my account by bank transfer . We can confirm that your Sony Xperia Z3 Compact was classed as Faulty due to the micro SD card slot being faulty. The slot does not close properly which makes the phone un-waterproof.

We emailed you a revised Fault offer with the option to have the phone returned free of charge. You accepted the Faulty price and payment was made.
