Good Points: Compact leather surrounded compartment from which to operate a sophisticated responsive machine. The gurgle as the engine is asked for more. Wood trim. Sumptuous seats. An air of supremacy in the luxurious ride quality.
Bad Points: A need to know where every petrol station is! Visible fuel needle dropping. Parts are going to be expensive and victimised as a not so green car. Mere details...
General comments: I kill cars, its nothing personal when I get in em they fall apart and generally they don't like me. So last July I thought I would try to buy something a bit sturdier. I live 4 miles from work so the badge "V8" was not a worry. In fact when you push the faster pedal the badge is a delight. There is no delay just a swift arrival at gargantuan pace possible to have a refined conversation at over one thirty, so I am told. I smile when I drive it it feels like it wont dare let me down and I find excuses to go places - not many cars do that, certainly not my Vectra.

The 2002 overhaul, the 2004 minor facelift and the addition of a fine diesel engine to the range have transformed the once uninspired S-Type from an also-ran into one of the most competitive cars in its class.
