In Bahrain, we were shouted at, delayed 24h due to 30ppl overbooked on the flight - without any compensation, treated like we were nothing, like the problems with the 24h delay was our problem rather than theirs...
The Planes are broken and dirty (one toilet broken, one had fices on the wall before takeoff!) Sounds system was broken (non on our 4 seat row worked), headrests broken (the plane looked like a mess when we got off, from all the broken seats).
The stewardesses on our flights were very accommodating, but the snobbish male ground staff was terrible!
I was told they are replacing their planes but didn't prioritize the european flights.

    Gulf Air is the worst airline ever experienced. Flights from London to Bahrain to Bangkok, took 36 hours when it was supposed to take 20 odd. Multiple delays including;
Emergency landing at Istanbul required, long delays.
Waiting trapped inside a glass shuttle bus on tarmac in mid-day Bahrain heat for 1 hour while plane was prepped.
Changing the aeroplane passenger door because it didn't fit and close properly. Mechanic summoned to fit the door, that took a few hours.
    We subsequently missed o ...

We flew from Heathrow to Dubai via Bahrain with Gulf Air. Poor service both ways, 2 hours to get a drink, food cold when it arrived. Ran out of the options, only had dried up lanb left. Not enough staff on board. Forgot to load the wine on the return journey, then all the video systems packed up. Nobody answering the bell.
    Miserable and moody staff.

    Cabin Appearance: Clean & Presentable.
Service at Departure Airport: Efficient and Satisfactory.
Seats: Regular economy seats with but better than Qatar Airways or Emirates.
Meals: Commendable even for Economy class! Even though we were right at the back, the hostess said to me later that they sensibly stock up with more chicken options as that ' s what most passengers prefer. My son totally has a great time with his child meal too!
In Flight Entertainment: Good selection of entertainment with f ...

Gulf Air are competitive and offer lowest prices. But, poor service, bad attitude of ground staff in Bahrain, condition of planes. Would not recommend anyone to fly this airline. The physical conditions of the planes are not comforting. Staff attitude is really distressing, unwilling to help.

Its improving day by day. Service is excellent and planes in very good condition staff are really friendly and delays have been kept to the minimum. Excellent dutyfree and food is excellent as well as the flight entertainment system. Some planes are not very technologically advanced as you don't have individual TV's in some plane. I would recomend this airline to everyone especially because of the cheap air tickets and the excellent new service.

Just Recently I went on ebookers and was around searching for easy, cheap flight, I then saw around 10 flights, The cheapest was Gulf air, Which I had never heard of in my life, Then the second airline was Etihad which I have been with which I must say was the worst airline in the middle east, and obviously you all have hear of emirates, I have been with Etihad and emirates which I hate, and I will be righting a review about them when I have time. So I looked at the prices, between each of the 3 ...

We went on a flight to India with a stop over in Bahrain, We chose guf air as we never went by it and it was the cheapest with a 1hr stop over time! there and back!

We checked in quick and easy the staff were friendly and helpful, We then waited 20 minutes to go to the gate, (gave me some time to shop!!) we then got in the plane in 10 minutes, The sky nanny introduced herself, and gave my kid some toys.
Then we took off, We had seat back tvs and everything! Then the skynanny asked whether we r ...

This was our first flight with Gulf Air and we were presently surprised. I didn't expect anything like Emirates' standards, given the exceptionally low price of the fare but to be honest, they weren't a million miles off and probably better value for what you actually pay.

We had seat-back TVs with a reasonable selection of films etc., the plane was clean, we had more legroom than I've ever had in economy on other airlines and all flight attendants seemed polite enough. The staff were great, ...
