    Bad Points: Burn in time.


    General comments: These headphones are at the top of the charts! WOW! Burn them in for over 300 hours first so that they mellow out. As accurate as they come. True highs and lows. Bass is exceptional. The only thing better is driving a sub-woofer with the headphones, but the cans themselves deliver a pounding bass if your ears can take it.

    I am totally in love with the AKG K701 headphones. Power hungry - need an ampNeed '400+' hours of break in with an amp to open up. 'THE' best sound stage of all headphones out there.
