    I have purchased 2 'lil hottie' flat irons. Initially, they heat well, but eventually the heating element seems to weaken. Also, the switch design (on the cord)is terrible, as it continually catches on the counter and switches to 'off' which is an awful nuisance and inconvenience. I have wanted to send an email to the manufacturer regarding this poor design, but I have been unable to find the company on the internet. The positive aspect of the TIGI Hardcore Flat Iron is that is is very easy to manuver on short hair.

    I love my TIGI Hardcore Flat Iron straighteners. Im not happy though after less then one year the swivel cord has caused it not to work! I want a replacement but dont have my receipt I want to find somewhere or someone to repair it! I have to say this is the best one Ive ever purchased and it has not caused damage to my hair!

    I absolutely love the Tigi hardcore flat iron straightener! My mother gave it to me for my birthday and it was the best one I have ever had! I cannot find it in any stores though and I haven't found any discounts or coupons for it! I really want another one of the hardcore straighteners! The only little thing wrong was that mine lasted for about two months! Overall, I love these straighteners!

    I really like my TIGI Hardcore straightner, until it stopped working and made weird noises when i plugged it ine. its less than a year old, and I dont have my receipt for the warranty. So now what do I do with it? Piece of crap!

    I have sent my TIGI Hardcore Flat Iron back to the company 4 times. If Im going to pay $120 for my staightener, I should never have to send it back!

    I've had this iron (Lil' Hottie) for about 3 or 4 years and used it on a near daily basis. My hair is fine and ranges from short to medium length. This iron has always done the trick, great for getting those little unruly bangs to calm down.The iron heats up fast and has never pulled my hair like other people said, maybe they aren't using the Hardcore version?     I Love the TIGI flat-iron. Some people say its horrible but it is soooooo tottaly not. I have had this flat-iron for about a year so far it hasnt stoped heating up, and straigtens within seconds. It leaves my hair silky and shiny. Its worth alot of money because its a great product. Its absolutly, positivley worth the money.

    I got the Tigi Hardcore Flat Iron (in 2 sizes) way back in 2001 and I still have both of them now. I absolutely LOVE it, it heats up fast, gives me the pin straight hair and it doesn't frizz my hair. I never had a problem with it snagging my hair and I have semi-wavy coarse hair.

    The TIGI Hardcore Flat Iron is poor. It pulls your hair, it takes a long time to heat up, it takes a long time to straighten your hair, by the next day your hair can lose shape and go back to being almost the way it was before you ironed it, it makes your hand sore. I threw my money away on this trash. I don't recommend it to anybody.

    Lasted more then 4 years. Straightened my naturally curly hair by only going over it once. Loved it and wish I could get another!

    I am a little nervous about the TIGI Hardcore! I noticed that most of the posts were old so maybe since mine is newer i won't have that problem! I guess we'll have to wait and see.

    Obviously, I'm not the only one that has had their TIGI Hardcore Flat Iron catch on fire. Today I plugged into my masterbath, and was going to let it heat up- as I was leaving it started sparking and black smoke poured out!
    I'm so glad I didn't get out of the bathroom, because my infant daughter was asleep in her crib, in the bedroom! Can you imagine? I'm shaken just thinking about it! Now, I will try to resolve this with the company, but by other reviews, it looks to be a task!

    I've had my TIGI Hardcore Flat Iron for about a year, and I was generally happy with it at first, and appreciated having a flat iron that heated up quickly. Although, a couple of days ago, I went to plug it in my bathroom and it blew the outlet out. I thought maybe it was just a bad outlet, but then when I went to try it in my other bathroom, it did the same thing.     I posted a review about a month ago about the TIGI Hardcore Flatiron that caught on fire in my bathroom. Well today another one (that they replaced from the salon) blew sparks in my face and then died. Thank God it didn't catch on fire like the last one. This is such a waste of money. Try a CHI. Hardcore products are not reliable and I was even at different outlets when the different flatiron blew. Look around before you waste $100. All they want to do for me is replace the cost with their hair ...

    I've had my Flatiron for about a year now, and it has so far done a good job at what it is supposed to accomplish, but today...it caught on fire in my bathroom. I plugged it in the wall...turned it on and set it on the counter and the entire inside compartment caught fire only a couple seconds after I set it down.
