Good Points: Great vocal clarity. Reasonably flat frequency response down to about 80 Hz. Good looking speakers and well built. Have served me well as monitors, bookshelf and rear ch.
Bad Points: Woofers bottom out quite easily and can resonate with unprocessed music (probably only relevant when used as a monitor). One driver had to be replaced after it tore its spider.
General comments: Would recommend the Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 1 if you come by for less than £100 / 200$ the pair. Bought mine for £150 after seeing them on offer and having been awarded 5 WhatHIFI stars
