Good Points: Good Hi-Frequency detail due to Front L/R and Center tweeters. Clear and respectable midrange frequencies. Good Bass performance for a speaker in this class. Looks modern/artistic. Both Bass and Volume dials on the wired controller. Headphone jacks, and Line In jacks on wired controller for easy access. Good value 5.1 surround for its price
Bad Points: Nothing to write about.
General comments: The Creative Technology Inspire T6060 System will kick the socks off your aging 4.1 speaker system. Also a good buy if you want to enjoy 5.1 surround sound in games and DVD movies, once you've had enough of 2.1 stereo.
The sound quality is perfectly adequate for non-audiophiles who still appreciate good sound. The T6060 should outperform the Logitech X-530's and Creative's Inspire 5200, although at a slightly higher price.
If you're an audiophile who needs speakers that can broadcast your favourite song to your neighbours, then you should pay a couple hundred more for top-end speakers. Or if you don't care about surround sound, then you could just get a top-end 2.1 system instead.
