Good Points: Great piece of kit, great features, plenty of connections, future proof with hdmi feature and upscaling !
Bad Points: Heavy, bulky, dust collector.gets very warm fast and consumes a lot of power.also not as straight forward to set up and remote completely useless due to design. Sound needs cranking right up to benefit from this amp, where as other models don't need knob moving as much.
General comments: Overall the Denon AVR-2307 is a great piece of kit for beginners home cinemas, although for a beginner not so easy to set up, great features with a great look, item a bit over priced for what you get though, paying for denon badge I guess.speakers connections fidgety and could be better, need to feed cable in hole then screw cap over, time consuming. recommended? why yes but looking back in hindsight i would have purchased top model 4306 for extra £200 so i would hold onto your cash and shop about.
