Good Points: Excellent Customer service
Bad Points: None
General comments: We have had to change the date of our holiday due to unforseen circumstances. Staff in Inverness branch made this very easy and tried to keep costs to the minimum to do so. Had small child with me when doing so and staff in shop were great - very quick and efficient. Very impressed

Booked a holiday for a party of 24 to Cancun in 2006 and all went through! Received the tickets re above and called to request we were all sitting together on flights and could they see to this, they said they could do this and then charged us on top of original price for 24 people of £9-00 per person to have seating together. I was looking for 4 days on the Costa Brava in June via Ryanair. The consultant was brilliant. She sourced everything I requested. A break for 2 via Stansted with a full board hotel =£279. I did the same trip at the same time last year paying £400 on the internet.
All ready to pay with My Visa swipe card -Sorry company policy says we can only accept Chip and Pin cards. How embarrassing is that - I was not allowed to pay for my break!

I found when you first walk into the agents shop, you get a strange look from the young workers there. Being in my 20s I find I get looked at as though I have not got enough money to book a holiday.

I booked a holiday in June 2005 for myself, my husband and 2 kids. We were so impressed with the service and high level of enthusiasm and dedication from the Kids Club Staff that we booked with Thomson again for August 2006. We went to Ibiza and the staff were very helpful, from the travel agents right through to the Thomson reps in the hotel. I would definitely recommend Thomson as a child friendly company!

We did travel with Thompson in 2005 and had a great time but 2006 was the worst time of our lives! They have been totally out of order with their lack of care and attention to detail and fail to admit any mistakes that they have made. Needless to say we will never use them again and will carry on fighting until we are refunded/compensated.

When me and my partner were searching for our perfect holiday, it was not taken lightly. My partner decided to go to Thompson. He found a great holiday, 11 nights, fully inclusive, no kids. The original price was too high, so they offered us £100 off. Very nice of them, however the next morning when he phoned up to book the holiday they said the offer was only £80 and refused to budge.
