General comments: First of all, i really don't like Dyrdek's shoe designs for DC. Most of the time they look like the usual running shoes that we see from Adidas and Nike, but with these ExACTA's, Dyrdek's hit the base.
These are very comfortable, has a big fat tongue to protect your feet from sharp board attacks, has hidden lace loops to protect the laces, triple stitched toe cap for durability, grippy outsoles and a fully fucntioning airbag for hard landings, aside from that, it's bulky, which i really, really prefer than the thin type of skate shoes that's been coming out lately from all skate shoe companies.
Overall, these are very durable skate shoes well worth your money.
I've always hated vulcanized/thin shoes because they can really hurt your feet, there's less padding and there's a lot of possibilites for ankle rolls. Compared to a puffy/bulky tech shoes, which i will always prefer.
Some shoes that i recommend:
Jamie Thomas circas
Chet Thomas/Rodney Mullen Globes
Emerica Erik Ellington 1's
Emerica Reynolds 1 and 2
eS Accels and Accelerates
Etnies Arto, Tribune and Vallely's
88 Strubing 1 and 2, Svitak, Ving, Markovich.
