  Good Points: Microsoft office integration Easy to use Automatically updates all of the information ANSI & JIC "smart" symbols SQL database driven Visio graphic editing VBA customizing Price

  Bad Points: PDF output is an option You need a high end PC to run it DWG & DXF conversion could be better

  General comments: Very impressive integration of Visio and SQL server resolves many of the issues of plain Visio. Shape editing is simplified over ordinary Visio and the "addition" of attributes is taken care of by the SQL database. Overall Aucotec Engineering Base 2.2 is a very powerful data driven set of software.
