I bought the chuckit pocket ball launcher. I love this - had one previously but lost it. You don't have to carry a great big long chucker around, this is much smaller, but launches the ball just as well and the balls are long lasting - my 2 german shepherds have not managed to chew them at all! I found D for Dog a few months after losing my elderly Labrador Bessie. The members welcomed me with open arms and were genuinely, I believe, a huge part of my healing process. Only another dog owner can truly know the grief and loss you feel after losing your dog. A great part about the forum is the fact it is non-breed specific. What a great site! Not as well advertised, but it has so much to offer! The people on the forums are very friendly and your queries get answered with a lot of thought. You have the options to post pictures of yourself and your dogs. You can ask a real vet for advice. You can compare dog foods. They have fun competitions and the website is well presented.
