    Very bad service. Often takes too long for them to answer calls, which is an 08 number by the way!! The recovery is generally slow - Ive had to wait about 1 hour 30 mins on one occasion, even though I broke down in a dangerous location. Further, it took several weeks to recover taxi fare which they promised to give me. After claiming this, they refused to renew my policy. Ive now found a much better breakdown cover from green flag. Ive asked for transcripts of calls, which they are failing to provide!

    Quite some years ago my car broke down boarding a ferry traveling to France. The guys at Brittany Ferries pushed our car onto the ferry. We phoned Europe Assist from the ferry and they had a breakdown truck meet us at the ferry terminal when we arrived. They took us (family of 4 including a baby) straight to the garage.     I have never had to use Europ Assistance for a breakdown but their admin is very poor. I sent them an email which they ignored. Price was reasonably competitive but as they dont bother to answer they are a bit of a waste of time.

    I highly recommend Europ Assiatance breakdown cover. Fast, efficient with experienced Drivers I think most of them have their local garages and cooperate with EU. Any time I asked them they did what ever possible to fix my car they were friendly and they seemed to know what they are doing.

    Chose Europ Assisy through www.moneysupermarket for £30.50. This includes full cover, with onward travel, hotels etc. Been with them almost 2 years now, and last week, my car broke down late evening. I called Europ Assist who advised breakdown company will be there within the hour. They were there in 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I needed a new part on my car and they towed me back to my house.     Excellent customer service, helpful, polite, clear and easy to understand. Breakdown van arrived within about 20 minutes, wheel changed very quickly and the guy checked all around the car to make sure there was no other damage as a big pot hole had given the car quite a whack.
    Only had to use once, thank goodness, but couldn't fault the service right from initial contact with call centre to completion of the job. Will renew with this company.

    I recently broke down in France in a big town ..As I was near a main dealer I walked to the garage who called a recovery truck. My vehicle was brought into the garage a hire car company was called by them and provided me with a hire car for two days at 65 euros a day ... I did not call Euro Assistance at the time however ...they later accepted I had a claim and after providing the receipts for the recovery truck call out and the car hire ...met my claim in full within 10 days ....YOU CANT DO BE ...

    Overall very good with good service and staff. Very sympathetic. Rates good and will definately be renewing our cover again.
    We can not praise them enough for their good and very helpful service. We had a really horrendous day with us being really cold and scared stuck on the motorway for 2 hours. They came to our rescue. Girl on phone was extremely pleasant.

    For my money I have got full cover including relay cover, replacement car cover, hotel cover, household repairs cover. All this for £36.50 . I dont know how they do it for the money. I bought this Europ Assistance Breakdown Cover via the www.moneysupermarket.co.uk as they were actually cheaper than buying direct from the Europ Assistance web site. Check it our on the web site. You wont be disappointed. Note the cover is for the the vehicle only not the person although it does cover the pol ...
