After Having my Driving licence for two years I decided it was about time to come off my mums insurance and buy my own car! Lol
So I ended up getting the 2008 Vauxhall Vectra 16valve 140bhp and TBH after driving endless cars & 4x4 vehicles through my work I find this car to be one of the best in terms of valu for money and performance especially on the long haul motorway drives.
The ride comfort when travelling at speed is second to non and the engine is quite responsive especially when accelera ...

i brought a vauxhall vectra estate for the load space, its a 07 1.8 16v vvt sri, yes people slag tem off i know. but if you know how to work a gear box you can get these cars moving, yes they are a bit flat on pull away, but hold it in the gears and it will shift, and the engines are very hardy and laps it up, thats wot these engines were made for. i push mine to 6rpm all the time.vauxhall mechanics tell me its not even testing it! so dont knock this car till you try it...

I a 58 plated 1.8 SRi estate on loan for a couple of weeks whilst my car's rear end was being repaired after a modest rear end shunt. To be honest, it didn't impress me at all. I couldn't get a comfortable driving position, the steering response is all non-linear with a very artificial feel.I dug through the handbook and allegedly the 1.8 16 valve engine develops 140bhp. To me it felt more like 70. Spineless is how I'd describe the performance. In an effort to get something out of it I would up a ...

This 2008 Vauxhall Vectra SRi is a real sports car, the suspension is very nicely tuned, doesn't need Traction Control or ESP to keep it under control, great feel on the wheel, new steering damping irons out the small bumps around town, and the ride and comfort is better than anything else in its class. The new 2008 Vectra SRi is a real grown up car, matured and well tuned. The Mondeo may look good with its copy cat Aston looks, but the SRi is every mach for the ST in road handling now, and much ...

Just bought this car and what a joy to drive, drove the car for a weekend break about 80 miles and just loved the handling and comfort of the car the engine pulls well at low or high speeds and drive it hard on country roads the car just seemed to love the late braking and turning into even switch back of turns with minimum of car set up. What a change from the first vectras a pig to handle.
The best car I have driven for a long time car seats need a bit of fiddling but once done really comfort ...

Sat nav, comfort, looks sporty, great 5 door car better than Mondeo any day. Feels a very safe car to drive, driven all over England never let me down. Great after sales service will get a other one next year. Had Vauxhall car many years ago said then I will never buy another one again. To many problems. Got there act together now great engine, all round nice sporty family car.

The Vauxhall Vectra 1.8i 16v SRi 5dr was a very pleasing car to drive on a test run and the first Vauxhall I had driven for many years. It was pleasing to find the amount of space for me being 6ft 4 ins the car was a Vectra 1.8 design 2007. It only took a sort time to get sorted and I found the drive to be very sound. Yes its a big car but plenty of pleasing controls at your reach. The 1.8 engine was fine in and around slow moving traffic and plenty of response to faster moving traffic yes it al ...
