Good Points: Roomy & economical, overall average 54mpg in brisk driving over the last 22 months covering 80,000 miles. Very well equipped & probably £3000 less than a similarly spec'd car.
Bad Points: A little noisy. Some minor irritants like how do you replace the headlamps without taking it to the dealer, (who did it for free even though I had brought bulbs elsewhere). Shame the newest ones have a space saver spare.
General comments: Excellent, the Skoda Octavia is one of the best cars I have owned. Consumption has improved as the miles have built up. I find it comfortable & like the electric seat, pity you cannot have them for the the passenger side. Wife loves the heated seats! Leather gives it a luxury feel, as does the climate control
Performance is good from the 2 litre PD engine. Little things like the standard load netting for the boot give a nice feel good factor. The best bit is trying to stop smirking at the BMW, Audi, Volkswagen etc drivers who have paid over the odds.
