i bought the honda civic 2.2 as ive always thought they looked amazing!! the second i test drove it e fell in love with it,,even though worryin about insurance (as im 19) but i had to have it!! yes the rear view window has poor visibility but the wing mirrors seem a lot wider therefore allow me to see more at the rear end!! This care is literally the nicest car to drive, economical (even wen being driven hard) and absolutely gourgeouse!!!
i cant rate this car high enough!!!!!

Good looking inside and out.
Pleasant place to be and comfortable/fun to drive.
Handling is good but not as good as a Golf. The engine makes up for any shortcomings - very powerful, smooth and responsive.
Storage space inside is also great and the boot is a good size. 6ft 2 adults have no problem in the back seat.- Read Guest's review (90 words)

The visibility is terrible throughout the car but especially when reversing (the spoiler blocks the view!) 2 The seats are hard and have very little movement on the part that supports your back. 3 The dashboard illumination reflects in the windscreen when driving at night. 4 No rear wiper and the lower part of the window is not heated. 5 The ride is hard and bumpy.
The car is design over function and is dreadful to live with. Even the build quality is not the good.- Read Guest's review (88 words)

I really like the Honda Civic 2.2 i-CDTi driving position and the instruments. The engine is very flexible with all the power you need. The civic is like a dream, great performance, the ride and the extras. I also like the great engineering, its so well made. Having been an engineer I take my hat off to Honda, Well done- Read knypersley's review (60 words)

The Honda Civic 2.2 i-CDTi SE 5dr engine is quiet, plenty of power. excellent small family car. On motorway driving 59mpg, combined 57mpg............this I achieved on my first run out .I traded in my BMW 120D.......best thing I could've done- Read knypersley's review (43 words)

To date, a smashing buy.
The Civic is a real driver's car with a wonderful engine and lovely to drive. Very quick because of the high BHP, especially between 35-60 mph.
It seemed to me to have more style/panache/verve than my other shortlisted cars (Focus and Golf) and I wanted something a bit different to stand out from the crowd.
It hasn't disappointed, yet.
Thoroughly recommended. Test drive one and you won't be disappointed.- Read thegreatvaliantman's review (129 words)

I have to admit that despite the bad points of Honda Civic 2.2 i-CDTi SE, I do really enjoy driving it and generally using it day to day. It is very fast for a turbo diesel but it's also got a CO2 emission rating lower than the lowest government rating so as a company car it's very economical. I bought the SPORT version, because at the time I bought it (early March 2006) you had to get that option in order to get the 18" storm alloys, but I understand that you can get all sorts of different comb ...- Read wittzi's review (431 words)
