    Bad Points: I got the car nearly 2 months ago but have only driven it for 6 days in total having had courtesy cars for most of the past two months. Problems +++ mainly due to the particulate diesel filter system. Seriously regret going anywhere near this model of car.


    General comments: This Audi A3 has been a dreaful experience. Audi have told me that the car may not be suitable for anyone using it for short, stop- start journeys due to the diesel particulate filter system. I would add that I certainly was not made aware of this prior to getting the car. I don't actually do many short journeys but drive mainly on motorway and use the car for my job. The result is that every 4 days (200 miles) the filter blockage warning light goes on and I have to drive for upwards of twenty minutes on the motorway in third gear. If I am lucky the warning light will go off, although it often doesn't. Nightmare car, if I had the chance again I wouldn't touch it with a barge poll.

    Vorsprung durch teknik... translated means very disappointing technology, I think Audi were really good cars once but they've just lost the plot quality wise!
