Good Points: programming options, sound and pictures

Bad Points: build and its faults

    General comments:
first Sagem ITD 64 box died after a couple of weeks with the nasty smell of electronics burning, was replaced and now after a couple of months it has the same fault.

Good S-Video picture and sound. Have owned one for 18 months. Picture and sound as good as Sony D800U I have. Very good picture and sound, but can keep rebooting (resetting itself). Well recommend Sagem ITD 64 freeview box.

I am savvy with Electronic products and their guts but this one is a let down. Bought new 7 days ago almost £40,for 7 nights every 20 minutes it freezes looses signal, restarts on a alternative channel to that which I was watching.
I have a new £120 aerial, perfectly sited with plenty of gain,so no problems there.
Now find no service or sales contacts in the UK
Its time imports were banned if no backup available in the UK

If you are prepared to accept the limit on the stations it will receive without fault then it works well.

I have a good aerial but I do have a large number of tall trees in the garden and this may cause some loss of signal.

Sagem ITD 64 is a very poor quality box, mine died after only three weeks of use. hard to install on some TV's. Also the box will not turn back on after being left on stand by.Do not buy!
