Good Points: Easy to use as a camcorder
Bad Points: Terrible for downloading the film onto my computer - have even had a computer expert out - all I GET are still images of half the film I took - then for the second half, the battery life runs out and I can't download at all.
General comments: I would NOT recommend the Sony DCR-SR72 to ANYONE to buy this camera IF they want to download the film onto a computer and then burn that onto a DVD. It is VERY DISAPPOINTING and should be avoided at all costs.

The Sony DCR-SR72 is a good quality recording and stills camcorder. It has easy user interface and no removable media with megapixel sensor.

The Sony DCR-SR72 Hard Disc Drive Camcorder with 2.7'' LCD Screen has come in as average. It has however got 60GB of memory that's almost 15 hours film coverage at the highest setting before you have to consider deleting. Although it has scored low it is a great value for money product.
