I have been used the Sony HDR-SR1 and it's really perfect. I think,only HD is enough for buying it;)

To compound the Sony HDR-SR1 problems as yet Sony's online support has failed to even come back with an answer nor even an acknowledgment. I tried for nearly a week! (Their feedback department did come back after a week, but have since disappeared). Looking at various forums on the web I see that I am not alone in this, and others echo my views above.
I just CANNOT recommend this excellent camera.
