This is the second GW250 I've had. The first one died after a couple of years of fairly regular use (one to two times per month). The second has had only intermittent use in the last five years but is failing due to severe wear in the bush at the rear of the motor - there is about 2mm of radial movement in the rotor shaft.
Also the bag had a tendency to clog very easily which made it fairly useless on vac. As a result I've only used the blower mode for the past five years.

I have owned the B&D GW250 since they first came out. It is a good Garden Vac, but has it's faults. The Zip on the bag is completely hopeless - very weak and badly designed. When it breaks you have to buy a new bag - I am on my 3rd bag now. The Fan Rotor blade is Plastic - again this shold be metal as platic wears out - I am on 3rd one of these as well.
Apart from that Motor is fine / powerful and overall a good buy.
