    Good Points: hard drive


    General comments: The LG RH-177 has a faulty disc drive...very common with most LG .. lg must know of this prob!!!!!!!!!! £160.09 for replacement thats without fitting and vat....just so it can pack up again after warranty expired..............DO NOT BUY LG !! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

    Would not really recommend without 3 year warranty as this unit failed a lot for me. Very frustrated with LG as my unit is no longer playing DVDs (hardisc is fine). LGUK have quoted me £160 to fix the fault. You can guess what to do with the quote! Have tried to replace the DVD recorder drive myself but not been able to source this cheaply £70 in UK but bought one from the STATES ~$50 dollars+ $15 dollars shipping ~ £45 quid in total.
