    Bad Points: TV tuner is crappy


    General comments: I have owned this Lite On LVW-5115GHC for almost two years now. Still works without a hitch. good picture, good sound. Records great DVDs from my Camcorder. I can even control my camcorder from this unit when I use the DV link. I'ts got all the features I need. My 18 month old son roughs it up and keeps pressing the buttons all the time, but they still work fine. Same with the remote. It was value for money (Bought it from Geeks, though they dont sell em anymore I think).

    I bought this machine for £68 from Tesco, and was well pleased with it. However after only 7 months use it now fails to identify any disk ( even pre-recorded ones ), it just keeps saying ` No Disk `. A friend at work had the same problem and took it back for a refund. It`s a shame because if it wasn`t for this problem I would have given it a very high rating.
