I have had the SHU3306 in my house since 1999. 2008 now and I still love this machine. Absolutely could not have asked for more. After 9 years the water pump is starting to get a little less quiet but still much quieter than most of the others out there.

The Bosch SHU3306 was already here when we moved in, but I wouldn't buy one again after reading all of these bad reviews. As of today, it won't turn on. It is probably one of the problems others have listed regarding the control panel because there is power coming to the dishwasher from the house. Think we will not bother with the costly repair and just pitch it. We can probably buy another brand for what it will take to repair this. Never again! (read more)

we bought a bosch with lots of promise and the display and control system started malfunctioning in two years time! It also doesnt clean properly either. My advise is, if you are in North America, please buy a north american dishwasher. Bosch did not perform to our expectations and is not robust. (read more)

I have had similar problems with my Bosch dishwasher. The control module buttons are acutated by a plastic basket that seems to break in no time. I have removed the outer buttons to work the smaller buttons on the control module so that I can operate the dishwasher. I tried to have Bosch take care of this and they say it is out of warranty, even though I tried to have this problem fixed while it was still under warranty. I expected a lot more from a Bosch appliance, this is a very poor design, and has no durability. I have no trouble with the sound and cleaning ability of the machine. It is just the control module.
