Good Points: Spacious enclosures. Low walled enclosures being done up. Lynx. Loads of British wildlife.
Bad Points: Not cheap. Long walk. Some enclosures old fashioned.
General comments: This is a very good zoo but expensive for its size, £8.00 per adult. The animals are very well kept. The Lynx enclosure is best as it is huge and although walled, has trees, grass, play things and a recreated cave. Many of the enclosures are walled but are being done up. The walls will soon be replaced with glass, which you can see through. The Badger house is lovely and the Terrapin pond is massive. It also has some beautiful Wolves, Apes and Mara. Well worth going to.
Enclosures are spacious, well made but walled (to be done up) 8/10.
They have a wide range of animals 9/10.
Good value 5/10.
Facilities are mostly very good 8/10.
Lay out 7/10.
Parking/signing-8/10
