we are currently with Gregory pennington who charge a fee for there services, payplan are a free service who get there fees paid by your creditors, when we contacted payplan and first spoke with Stephanie Earl who was reviewing our debts after we explained that we were currently paying
£910 p/m which we were struggling to pay as it was leaving us totaly broke and then we would need to hope that the car didn't break down or anything in the house didn't break down as we would not have any funds, as all of our money was being givng to Gregory pennington and this was clearly explained to Steph who came back with a fee of £994.63 when i asked Steph where she got this figure from she said that it was a break down and that creditors would not like that you are paying for smokes well if we could give up then we would but debts are stressful, so i sent an e-mail regarding the figure only to get a very nasty reply from a Kerry-Ann-Websterwho when i called to speak to her she was very critical and a very peice of work, so if you are thinking of using Payplan remember they may be a free service but these people still get wages and Payplan still get fees from your creditors so dont be fooled into thinking that they will be on your side as remember who pays them.

i notice most these positive reviews are from people still in their plans, and none from people who have finished!
I used payplan 6/7 years ago and after two years got down to around £1000 owing (according to website when logging in)
at this point I decided to leave the plan and manage the last 2 or 3 months on my own (I was paying £450 a month)
but when i contacted all my creditors I actually still owed around £4000!! then realised the amount remaining is (was) only an e ...- Read lincolndj's review (176 words)

I had to default on my credit arrangements last September when I lost my job and was driven to distraction by my creditors. I mean, they literally nearly drove me mad. At that time, I was lucky enough to find something else and could continue with payments and pay off arrears on the missed one, but then I lost my job again this year in May and contacted PayPlan before I missed my first payment as I couldn't bear the thought of dealing with those awful phone calls again.
PayPlan have been grea ...- Read Guest's review (155 words)

I kept up regular payments for 4 years and when I did have a problem and contacted Payplan they actually refused to even acknowledge me as a customer and instead tried to get me to set up another agreement.
I refused payments until they acknowledged me as a customer, finally got a response 5 months later that they admitted my details were on a older system hence I kept getting missed. However they have since cancelled my IVA and sent all correspondences regarding this to a house I haven't live ...- Read Guest's review (118 words)

I was in debt and worried out of my mind. I had creditors sending me letters and phoning me at home. I can't remember how I came across Payplan but it may have been via an internet search.
However, it is the best thing I EVER did. I will be debt free by August, 2009 after paying regularly each month for what will be, by then 5 years.
ALL your money goes to your creditors, which at first I thought coulndn't be true as how do they finance themselves but when you get all the bumph through they ...- Read JANET1970's review (239 words)

Good Evening guys,
I wonder if any one of you please please help me make my mind, I shall be grateful to you lots. Unfortunately because of my personal acts and stupid decisions, I have been thrown in debts. As I was stress with circumstances, in October 08 per some private debt agency help, I agreed to made my arrangements through them and started paying my creditors through them. I had been making regular payments, but only just realised that they deduct their fee for amount ...- Read dave danny's review (270 words)

I have had an arrangement with Payplan for a few years and so far they have proved to be very useful and reliable in terms of payments to my creditors.
Good points well exceed bad points and would not hesitate to use Payplan again - not that I ever intend to once my debts are paid off.- Read Guest's review (95 words)

Pay Plan have stopped me from spiraling into a cycle of despair. They have arranged a realistic budget payment and kept creditors from my door.
Even now, five months in, when I think I've got another 4 and a half years left and start thinking that the end is a long way off the advisors are encouraging and helpful.
Really recommend these guys.- Read Guest's review (70 words)

Made the decision that I really needed to get my poor finances in order and explored all my options... and after dealings with those criminals Yes loans (another story !) decided debt management was the way to proceed.
Had contact with a couple of companies (the other charged a fee) and decided to go with payplan. They are so professional and scrupulous in their management. They schedule their calls so you know exactly when they will be calling...and do. They assign ONE assessor to your case and ...- Read pebbles8's review (270 words)

Helpful, friendly staff and they know what they are talking about. Although they get money back from the bank, they work on the clients behalf. If they do not the client will stop paying and therefore they lose an income stream. They have many options available and cost me nothing.
They were all helpful and explained everything. They can take time to sort some things out but I can see this is due to creditors taking longer than usual and difficulties in getting hold of me, and vise versa. Great ...- Read Robertus's review (135 words)

Payplan really have made the world of difference. I'm still skint but at tleast i know everyone is beign paid. And its the fact i make one payment which covers the lot. So much easier. I think Payplan stopped me from going mad. They reassured me that I was not the only person in the world in debt (I knew that already, but it's nice to be told). I was receiving about 25 calls per day from creditors asking for money. After having an excellent credit rating, circumstances changed and I could not afford the debts. Would you believe, I was only one month behind when the harassing started. But now, thanks to Payplan, the calls are slowing down. I don't know how it's all going to tur ...- Read eleanor basalt's review (134 words)
