Good Points: Very good basic mode
    Quality lens
    Image stabilisation is a revelation
Good battery life with rechargeable NiMh
    Big LCD

Bad Points: Light and plasticky feel
Easy to knock mode dial, will it fall off eventually?
Impossible not to get LCD covered in smeary fingerprints, making it difficult to assess focus

General comments: I've just received this camera and am very pleased with the test shots. It's easy to use, with a valuable "idiot-proof" mode and the paper manual is comprehensive and well written. The camera feels comfortable in the hand, but is a lttle flimsy and plasticky in build. It's very easy to get finger marks all over the large LCD. Picture quality is good, but be advised, set the anti- camera shake image stabilisation to mode 2 all the time. It makes a dramatic difference to picture sharpness and really does enable sharp handheld pictures at shutter speeds as low as 1/20th sec. It's worth the money by itself to anyone with less than totally steady hands. Buy a set of powerful rechargeable NiMH batteries 2000mAh or more and a charger as throw aways don't last long. Overall excellent value for money at under £100 and the anti-shake is a real eye-opener.
