I wrote an earlier review for this site in which I stated, from my own experience, that security was the main priority at this site. Another reviewer took issue with my opinion and said security was not in your face. I beg to differ. Here is the the last English speaking review from zoover, which illustrates the point well.

Camping Cypsela, Costa Brava is a lovely site - spotlessly clean. Great pool. Very secure with personnel on entrance and exits but definitely not "in your face". First reviewer made it sound like a Gulag - definitely not the case. Weather and accomodation was fantastic ( Kelair Campotel) Not a lot in Pals apart from old Town itself but very close to other lovely little towns - Tamariu, Callela de Palafrugell etc. Plenty of supermarkets close by. The site has ugly high walls around the perimeter which are covered in barbed wire, This gives the general (and in my experience, correct) impression that security is more important than fun on this campsite. I would recommend that you try Castell Montgri or El Delfin Verde instead. (read more)

The local beach spoilt it for us due to the amount of nudity on parts of it. There were no signs that the dunes area of Pals beach was for nudists nor Illa Roja. (read more)
