    Good Points: Pools, bar, pitches, close proximity to beaches and ferry ports.


    Bad Points: The restaurant and the distace from the 'z' field to all amenities.


    General comments: Great campsite at Carnac, La Grande Metairie, especially for children. Have been there 5 years and find it perfect. Close to beach and Carnac Plage and the site has plenty to occupy both adults and children.

    The La Grande Metairie campsite in Brittany was clean tidy very relaxing. It was the best holiday I've had yet I wish the people I went with were still around to go again. I'll be back one day hope fully.

    Lots of activities for families who need entertainment laid on. This is not a site for campers who enjoy the outdoors. The toilet blocks were good but could be a long lonely walk in the night if you don't have own facilities and need to go!
    A poor example of the ethos behind the Castels Camping chain and a good example of how the site owners maximise profits.

    La Grande Metairie is a great site, perfect for a half term break. Smart area and easy cycle to a lovely beach & resort at Carnac Plage. Good points are the Swimming pools, the bar area and the sport facilities. The restaurant isn't.

    La Grande Metairie close to the beach and famous Standing Stones. Toilet blocks clean, washing facilities, mini market, take away, restaurant, swimming pools, bar, safe play area.
