i apologise for the length but this is gonna be detailed, i just came back home from a 4 night break, mon-fri, with my friend at bideford bay, really easy to find, i will start off with a few bad points which was that we had a caravan at brackenwoods which was at the top part of the part of the park right by the entrance, lovely plot, but its not like other parks where you can park the car next to the caravan it was only a few feet away in a parking bay not that bad i suppose, but the bad thing was that every night we would walk down the clubhouse but we had to walk down this steep, wet, and dark hill, hardly any of the lamposts were working, even during the day the staff would use golf buggy's to drive up/down it, especially awkward for women wearing heels. that is the only bad point needed telling really. now onto the good points, caravan was lovely, clean, mattresses/quilts/pillows/bed linen very clean no brown patches, beds very comfy, we had a 2 bedroom bronze caravan, just perfect, beautiful park all over no matter where you are in the caravan, walking around, down the clubhouse the scenery was gorgeous, very quiet, well looked after, the staff are lovely and friendly, the food/drinks/snacks/etc are very good prices standard to what we pay back home, we had a few meals & cooked breakfasts which were absoutely gorgeous we complimented the chef every time, sometimes we had to wait a few minutes but they would apologise and you could tell it was freshly cooked, local towns were great, 1 thing that was constant from the minute we got there to the minute we left was the staff were so friendly especially the entertainment team stars, sparky, sparkle, narky got so involved with children and the adults, were so amazing and fun first class standard, even the clubhouse was clean, i think thats all i got to say really, think i have said enough or a bit too much lol, i will definately be going back to the park soon, the only thing i would change is when i book it i will ask for a caravan close to the clubhouse so i wont have to walk up/down the steep hill in heels lol, i hope this has been of use to you. thanks

We went to Park resort Biddeford Bay for August bank holiday and booked a week, sat to sat, we'd left by Tuesday. The site is in the middle of nowhere apart from a tiny village so you have to drive to get anywhere decent (although Westwood Ho was lovely). The chalet was dirty, the suite fithly and smelt of sweat and damp. The bed was a camp bed and the matteress had collapsed. I have never seen so many wasps around asite either. The entertinment is a desparate attempt but fails miserably and we w ...- Read Guest's review (127 words)

Having just returned from a weeks stay at Park Resorts Bideford bay i could not understand some of the poor reviews it has recieved.
The staff were very friendly , The food was very good & the site is excellent great sea views over the bay & lovely wooded areas.
We had a silver chalet & were a little aprehensive as we normally would have a gold or above caravan, but were pleasently surprised the carpet was a little grubby but what do you expect with constant use. We would go again & would recom ...- Read pete kent's review (126 words)

There is always a Mrs ucket amongst the best complainers, however i went to Park Resorts Bideford Bay some time ago and i thought it was brilliant. The kids were entertained and adults alone. Shows were top notch. Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable.- Read Guest's review (67 words and 1 comment)

Now where do I start. Caravan was shabby even though we had booked a gold rating, it was smelly and the quilt had a cigarette burn in it. The cleaning, if a cleaner had been in it before we got there, was disgusting and I can only be glad I take my own cleaning stuff with me just in case, in this case it was well needed.
Nothing for kids to do apart from the hour or so entertainment - they were bored stupid. The Indoor pool was boring, no slides, the aqua jets were not working although at £ ...- Read geordiesgermanshepherds's review (220 words)

It didn't help that weather at Bideford Bay was terrible, water and mud everywhere. Children kept pestering for money for fruit machines and games machines, too wet outside for play. Would have been lovely outside if sunny. Lovely views over bay.- Read Guest's review (84 words)

Cup of tea when we arrived was £1.70P. Thought the entertainment was awful. Teamstars spoke to children once in the whole week except for actual children's teamstar who was ok.
Whole family went 21 of us. One visiting cabaret brill rest seemed to empty the tiny club. Never had anything like that in 24 yrs of visiting different holiday parks in Great Britain. Would not go back there ever.- Read nannypolly's review (83 words)

We found the staff very helpful at Bideford Bay, ideal for small children as the entertainment crew are well geared up to entertain them. Would book to go back next year.- Read kiriam's review (46 words)
