I knew nothing about air rifles, and even less about scopes! I saw this in a sporting goods store for about $120 so i bought it! The store calibrated it for me but it wasnt as good as i wanted so i calibrated it by myself in about 6 shots without difficulty. It was loud for the first couple of shots but quieted down and the reloading wasnt too difficult...i didnt expect it to be like a toy so it had to have some resistance. Power wise its great! easily blows through soda cans and nearly passes ...

crosman g1 extreme is a great powerfull gun with good range. I didn't expect much from a pelet gun but it was much more than i had expected. the gun is loud for a little bit it even gave me an ear infection but that was fixed and its great to use. I nailed a bird from about 50 yrds. and was pleased. I loved the scope on it with the ajustable crosshairs and sight. It wasn't so easy to load the first few times but it builds mussle.

I brought my Crosman G1 Extreme at for $119. This is my first airgun i have, and for a beginner this gun makes shooting so easy. The G1 extreme was made for pros, but it is so easy to that a beginner can use it.

The Crosman G1 Extreme is a great gun. I just killed my 2nd grounhog the other day at approx. 50 yards. Each shot was very accurate and did not make the animal suffer. What more can you say for the price, it's great. Alot cheaper and more quiet then a .22.

The Crosman G1 Extreme is a great gun. I got it for christmas last year and am very pleased with it. I don't know what all the fuss is about sighting the scope in. I can do it with about 8 to 12 shots. Once it is sighted in it is very accurate and powerfull. I shot a squirell from about 80 yards and it killed him with the first shot. Overall a great gun.

Great price under $ 100.00, nice grouping. However, it is loud and a bit hard to cock.

Overall, Crosman G1 Extreme is an outstanding buy. Great range and accuracy.

I wanted a "springer" because I did not want to waste time pumping. However, I was more than a bit puzzled. How can it be accurate when the barrel moves independently from the receiver - which has the scope mounted to it? To me, this goes against all the fundamentals of accuracy - it would seem that each shot should end up some place different then the last. I researched this and found not many others having issues. So after reading hundred of reviews, I was deciding between the Crosman S ...

First, i think the Crosman G1 Extreme gun has a very nice body. It looks great. I've tested the stopping power and it's very strong for an airrifle. Compared it with a diana and a had no problem beating that gun. You can penatrate pieces of wood like butter from as far out as 35-40 mtrs. Some say it s difficult to finetune the scope but if you know someone who knows a bit of airrifles, the job s done in half an hour. the result; a mind blowing accuracy !! up to 60 mtrs it's capable to hid a co ...

This Crosman G1 Extreme feels and is balanced very well,I noticed if I hold the rifle just in front of the trigger housing where the slope in the stock is and I don't hold the rifle overly tight it groups extremely well.Great rifle and scope for the money, clean the barrel first thing shoot it 100 or so times and it will be super accurate, its most accurate with crosman premier hollow points, its very quiet after about the first 20 shots, great buy!

If your looking for a varmine gun and cheap for its price go with the G1 Xtreme overall is very good. I dont know what everyones deal is with sighting a scope but i did it in two shots, but i got it on the money, shot a bird in the head about 25yrds away. Awesome gun, but i got a 30-06 and a 870 super magnum shotgun, and yet i love this air rifle, but good for the money.

*The Crosman G1 Extreme is very heavy compared to most air rifles.
*Something happened with the piece of metal from the trigger to the air supply and it would'nt shoot but i repaired in 10 minutes easily with a screw driver (4-way)
*My scope sights will change if it isnt used for a month or so. Then you have to go back out and line it up again. (This may be from what i put my gun through, which is thick brush and only dropped once.)

This gun is a good begginer gun but only one thing is realy ...

My experience with the Crosman G1 extreme has been very satisfactory. Heavy pellets help accuracy over long range and although your fps drops, the kinetic energy delivered with a succesfull shot increases ( stoping power ) along with a noticable increase in accuracy especially in windy conditions.
Besides with the power that this rifle delivers anyway if you are hunting small game they really won't know the difference between 900 fps and 1000 fps when you deliver a head shot.

    This rifle is DEFI ...

Although Crosman states in their specs that the rifle weights 6.05 lbs., my doctor scale would indicate otherwise. Mine, with scope (because you have no other choice with this particular "sightless" air rifle), weighs in at exactly 8.5 lbs. (Although, it "feels" heavier).Another thing I found "odd" about this rifle, was the trigger placement. It is strangely way forward of the hold, forcing you to swing your hand out and away so as to reach it. It took some time, but I got used to it.The two-sta ...

Crosman list the G1 as part of their new line of Springer Air Guns, in reality per bothe a phone call and E-Mails to crosman the G1 is a mix/ cross bread of their other models, to be more exact the crosman QWEST. There is no parts list for the G1 and if you contact crosman they will advice you to use the Qwest parts list. The G1 looks fine and feel good, but for some reason crosman decided to use rubber/ plastic washers/ shims at the break barrel pivot point which I found to cause major problems ...
