I found this Baumatic BFD60SS dishwasher is cheap. We had problems within a couple of months with the runners, the upper shelf feels like it is going to fall off and the wheels on the runners do fall off! We complained, it took engineer two attempts to fix this "simple" fault. It did the same after a few months again. Had the problem E4 fault. (read more)

Google search for "E4 Baumatic error" . This effectively means I will be buying another dishwasher just after the warrenty on my Baumatic BFD60SS runs out. An engineer cost £80 callout (to their timetable - not yours), plus parts etc etc.

Roll out upper basket, tends to break the runners after regular use.

my advice is DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ! buy anything else instead! (read more)

Not happy with the Baumatic BFD60SS, but paid a reasonable price as I compared prices. Badly designed inside. Large plates can only really go at the back of the machine and this leaves no room for saucepans, as cutlery basket is in the way. If dinner plates are loaded into the front they catch on the runners or the sprinkler. Be very careful not to pay over the odds for this attractive nightmare. (read more)

We've had a Baumatic BFD60SS diswasher only 4 months, and it has broken (the PCB board has gone). Customer service is VERY bad, telling us that the part would be with us within one week, and they keep retracting this statement, delaying the delivery date more and more!
The engineer stated that almost all of the calls that he attends are for Baumatic dishwashers, specifically this model! (read more)
