Bad Points: Large for the average english front room (just take the sofa to the dump and the coffee table whilst your at it).
General comments: I will take the easy way out and echo what Carl has said. These are superb and almost faultless speakers. They do seem a bit bright but that could just be that my room is a difficult space due to no carpets (can't afford them as I HAD to buy the speakers........come to think of it I would probably have eaten nothing but porridge for a month to have the chance of owning these speakers). I have a lot of current driving them, two separate amps to be precise, and the bass (it seemed a little light before) on your average contemporary R&B and track is.......let's say 'entertaining'. I live in a semi and when I play something particularly bassy I, by the kindness of my heart turn them down. The neighbours don't complain but if I was living next to me with these speakers I would!!! Midrange is wonderful, detail is wonderful, the look is wonderful they are.......WONDERFUL.......no EXCELLENT.......ummm.....SUBLIME and on and on and on. Don't argue with yourself, your wife girlfriend, partner, bank manager, baliff please ignore the lot of them and just buy them. If you want go and buy a pair of large modern everyday speakers by nearly any manufacturer at £500 to £2000. It will end in tears, you will sell them eventually. Unless I suddenly have £50000 to put to another pair of speakers these are not going anywhere. I will have the two of them superglued together and I will be buried in them!!!!
They don't make em like this anymore. That is not true of course. They do make speakers just as good but they will cost you a years wages and more.

The sound quality and sheer width and depth of the soundstage is beguiling. The bass response is utterly wall shaking if you want it to be, mostly when the Wife is out ! It is possible to almost see (!) the bass ripples as they flow across the listening space, if that makes sense, it will do to another 107.2 owner. I have owned them for 3 years and a pair of 107's before these and they both have the same signature 107 soundstage which can take some getting used to if you are used to 'normal' spe ...- Read CarlKef's review (425 words)
