Amazing bike, I really do not understand why people are saying these bad things about it things. Admittedly there was some teething problems at first but you get that with any bike/car. It tops out at 70mph witch is good. Any problems i have had the customer service from urban had been second to none. Tires are not very good in the wet but that is to be expected (there of road tires)...I would recommend this as a very cheep commuter. Very reliable. Strong bike. What you may find is some of the offer reviews may have been put on here by other Chinese import bike companies trying to give urban a bad name..... I would recommend. ...

Bought this bike second hand mainly for my son to get to work on and myself to have a play on as said before the bike is so easy to ride tyres are no good in the wet when taking corners it tends to slide but thats to be expected with off road tyres. With the bike being so cheap it makes good practice for my son to fix and sort most of the gremlins out without the big bills, all in all a good cheap runaround.- Read mickywood41's review (108 words)

To make my Urban dz a reliable bike I had to strip it down and rebuild the bike using lock nuts. I even had to make sum parts myself because the quality of the stock parts were to poor and it kept letting me down.- Read charleston jones's review (52 words)

The bike is OK, you get what you pay for, cheap as chips.
I use it as a second bike, not one to depend on. Most mechanics won't touch it, good if you want to learn how a motorbike works.- Read dixiebwoy's review (60 words)

Well, my experience of this bike overall was good, it had its teething problems but settled in to be a nice reliable commuter (wouldn't recommend it for off roading too much though) it's as fast as can be expected (70mph) flat out and handles surprisingly well.
Unfortunately someone has stolen it and it was third party only insured, so my days as a humble bike rider are over and its back on the bus.- Read lucanhandley's review (107 words)

I've done a thousand miles on my Urban DZ 125 now and its still going strong. A couple of bolts have come loose as to be expected and the only serious one is on the back brake. Now is sits to high and I have to lift my foot up over it but it will be easily fixed. Its only really happy doing 65mph as more than that it sound like the engine is working too hard. The tyres that are mentioned in previous reviews that are useless in the wet are fantastic in the dry so I won't bother changing them. The ...- Read lucanhandley's review (304 words)

With my Urban DZ 125 we're back up to 9 overall rating again. After I fitted my new tank I have had no problems at all with it and also have got 2 spare new panels for the tank if I ever sell it. A couple of bolts have come loose but I expect this so no big issue. Urban Bikes still haven't sent me a rear mud guard and number plate mount and I will be chasing this up but to be honest my custom one looks better. its done almost 500 miles now and starts in the mornings no problem. I am changing the ...- Read lucanhandley's review (192 words and 1 comment)

We're back up to 8 overall rating. Urban trading sent me a new tank and tank panels.
I fitted it all this morning and the tank they have sent me is a better one with more welds and stuff. The bike started first time as before and runs even better than before for some reason (maybe its getting run in).
I am back to loving my bike and overall I would have only used it for one day anyway so it wasn't too much trouble.
Thank you Urban Bikes !- Read lucanhandley's review (88 words)

Me again - Urban bikes been really good and I have a new tank and panels on their way - they were sent on the same day that I reported it and they are hopefully going to send me a rear numberplate mount and mug guard to. Should be back on the road in a couple of days.
I admit that the bike has been a pain and the petrol leak dangerous and not acceptable for a bike with 250 miles on the clock but the service I have had from urban bikes has been really good - I just hope the promises are kept a ...- Read lucanhandley's review (104 words)

You may have noticed that my previous reviews had an overall 9 out of 10 but it has now gone down to 7. My fuel cock almost came off the other day and was leaking petrol - not a problem, I just tightened it up, however I had put a fiver in it yesterday and it is now all over the road - I think the weld in my tank is knackered and it's now a non runner. Urbantrading have pointed out that I do not have a warranty booklet yet even though I paid for two years - they are sending me a new tank and hop ...- Read lucanhandley's review (130 words)

I've done 200 miles on this Urban DZ 125 now and I love it - it's my first bike and it is the only one I have ridden as I even did my cbt on a little 50cc. The bike so far has been reliable and I have had far fewer teething problems than I expected. I admit I may have been pushing it a little harder than I should be but have promised myself I wont any more. It starts first time but takes about a min to warm up and then you're away. It has slipped out of gear once but this was probably my fault a ...- Read lucanhandley's review (377 words)

Just to add to my previous review really. I did my CBT on 27th January and took it out for the first time - I did about a quarter of a mile and then it conked out and would not start. I took it to my mates garage and tinkered with it - I cleaned the spark plug and got rid of that stupid switch on the stand that cuts it out when the stand is down and now it starts first time and runs like a dream. It picks up speed really quickly and I have to admit that I once opened it up more than I should hav ...- Read lucanhandley's review (189 words)

It looks good, has a good engine (similar to the Honda CG125). A very good Chinese import.
Overall, if you are looking for a good value trials/enduro bike, which is road legal, then consider Urban trading as one of your choices.- Read spiriteddragon's review (59 words and 1 comment)

I got this Urban DZ 125 bike two months ago - it's my first bike and I love it - I'm doing my CBT on 27th Jan. I have started it up in the back yard and am having a spot of trouble keeping it ticking over but I'm hoping that will sort itself out. I got the bike for less than a grand brand new registered and taxed with delivery - an absolute bargain. As I say, I love this bike at the moment and once I have ridden it I will update the site and hopefully love it more!!!- Read lucanhandley's review (138 words and 4 comments)
