Good Points: all good can't think of any bad ones

Bad Points: none for us

General comments: we have been to kenya 12 tines and have booked for 2008. we stayed at two other hotels before we went to bamburi, from the first time we have never had to complain. when we arrive and are taken to our room as the staff see us they all come up and say welcome home[and it is like comming home] so people complain about anything but for us our sun beds are there in the morning, yes the rooms are basic but you don't live in them you only sleep there but they are very clean we cant fault the food/staff anything. when we know we are going i email the hotel and they do every thing they can to get our same room. so please don't be put off by some of the reviews this is kenya. we met a couple 5yrs ago it was there first time at bamburi they had stayed three times before at 5star hotels but like us said bamburi was much better than the others and have now holidayed with us at bambur

Advertised by First Choice as a perfect, all inclusive 4 star beach holiday hotel.
The reality of it was a filthy stinking hole, with an unusable public beach, overrun with beach traders of every description; tourist junk, wannabe Safari guides etc. All standing on the beach in front of the hotel shouting for your attention all day long and harassing you to death the second you step onto the sand.
The pictures in the brochure were five years out of date by the staffs own admission.
